Sean Murphy’s compelling arguments for why you should become a creator who’s an artist and a writer. (With helpful book recs on screenwriting.)
1. Now is the best time in the HISTORY OF COMICS to be doing a creator owned book.
2. Being a writer as well as an artist gives you more power, which is helpful in these uncertain times. It’s aimed for the most part at comic artists, but the argument applies in reverse as well. Writers who have not considered becoming an artist and creating an original work.
